Chinese imports of 200,000 tons of sugar fell by 270,000 tons in May

Data released by the General Administration of Customs show that China imported 200,000 tons of sugar in May, an increase of 13,000 tons year-on-year, and a significant reduction of 270,000 tons in the monthly ratio, which is basically in line with market estimates.
From January to May 2018, China's cumulative import of sugar was 1,101,900 tons, a year-on-year reduction of 165,100 tons.
By the end of May, China had imported 1,562,200 tons of sugar, a year-on-year reduction of 164,800 tons.
